Purpose: The COMMUNITY CALENDAR serves to inform
Eastern Shore residents and visitors of upcoming community events, activities and public meetings.

The following items can and should be listed on the Website:

Events that are open to the community

The following items are not listed on the Eastern Shore Local.com  COMMUNITY CALENDAR but are tracked by the Calendar Coordinator:

Small committee and subcommittee meetings. Small gatherings, such as study groups or social activities, which are limited to a particular group or membership

TYPE OF INFORMATION: The COMMUNITY CALENDAR can accommodate the following information:(please provide)

• Name of Organization
• Title of event or public meeting
• Date
• Time
• Contact name (first name only) and phone number or email
• Event Description

UPDATES, POSTING ERRORS: It is the responsibility of agencies and organizations to update their listings as needed. In the case of a listing error, info change, or change in date or time, the listing party is solely responsible for making these changes and informing the public. We recommend that the public checkwith the calendar often as datesand timesmay change. We rely on the individuals, who are responsible for activities and events in our communities, for timely changes and updates to our calendar postings.
